USAMU Seeks Wounded Warriors for the New Paralympic Section

The United States Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) is seeking select Army Wounded Warriors to feature in their ground-breaking Paralympic Section.

The USAMU Paralympic Section displays the best of Soldier skills through Paralympic competition, generates positive Army impression and enables Wounded Warriors to demonstrate and share in the notion of ability rather than disability. The Paralympic Section is comprised of the absolute best shooters, marksmanship instructors and Soldiers in the world.

Positions are limited, but the USAMU is searching for Paralympic competitors for both international rifle and international pistol competitions. Competitors should have a strong desire to represent the United States in international shooting competitions and spend 5-6 hour days, including weekends, on the range in a competitive marksmanship environment. Paralympians are also required to maintain intense concentration for long periods of time, have high levels of self-discipline, self-motivation and initiative, be able to perform basic computer skills and possess the capability to plan, resource and execute multiple days of travel as a team member.
