Team Glock Shows Strong Presence in SCSA West Coast Steel Challenge and IDPA Carolina Cup

Striving for the Glock motto, “Perfection,” Team Glock made a strong showing in recent shooting competitions.

KC EusebioTeam member K.C Eusebio competed in the 2012 West Coast Street Challenge in Piru, CA. Eusebio scored top honors in the competition, earning the victory with his Glock Model G 17. Despite the thorough whomping he delivered to his competitors, Eusebio remained humble.

“Everyone was very encouraging. I was honored to participate in the match, as the range where we competed was the birthplace of the Steel Challenge,” he said.

Fans of the Glock Team can see Eusebio shooting in the Fourth Annual Pennsylvania State Steel Challenge match early January.

Eusebio’s teammate, Tori Nonaka, was spreading the Glock gospel on the other side of the country at the IDPA Carolina Cup. While Nonaka didn’t take home a victory, this was her first match after recovering from a broken wrist. She said, “This was a good tune-up for the rest of the season.” We’ll be seeing more of this lovely shooter in the next Summer Fun IPSC pistol match in Kingston, Ontario.

Brian Lee, a Glock intern and a Yale Pistol Team member, also competed in the first time in the IDPA. He nabbed fourth place in the Stock Service category and achieved an expert title in his personal classification in the Stock Service Pistol.

Overall, Glock representatives have been doing an impressive job of bringing home awards for their team. But the Olympics are the horizon, so if Team Glock wants to impress the world with their marksmanship, they’re really going to have to take it to the next level.
