Mystery Gun

In addition to these pictures, there are a few clues that might help solve the riddle:

  • It has a cast aluminum body.
  • Its value is close to a new Honda Accord (about $21,480).
  • It’s chambered for 9mm Parabellum.
  • It looks ridiculous.

We’ve also got a shot of the instructions, but those are as befuddling as the gun, itself. We can’t make heads or tails of how this firearms is supposed to operate.

Any readers out there know what it is? We’re going to guess that whoever made this gun was a former ear doctor, or perhaps someone who overly adored the appearance of spray bottles. Maybe the creator was a Flash Gordon fan who wanted to build a more compact futuristic-retro ray gun. Hmm… It’s kind of sleek and simplified without a lot of its inner mechanics showing, and it has very elegant packaging. Maybe it was built by one of Steve Jobs’ gun-loving ancestors?

That’s it! We’re going to submit iGun as our answer. The competition is active until July 25, but you may as well give up. We’re pretty sure that we just nailed it.
