Bargain Hunting: FNH USA rebate on FNS pistols

FNH USA is offering a $50 rebate on their latest FNS series of pistols.

This rebate is valid from now until Nov. 30 of this year, and all sales in the U.S. qualify for the rebate.

The FNS is FN’s latest striker-fired pistol, manufactured right here in Columbia, South Carolina. It became available just this year and has impressed shooters of all stripes.

The FNS, chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W, already represents a good value. Often priced around $600 or less, the FNS comes with 3-dot tritium-powered night sights, three magazines, two interchangeable backstraps, one small straight backstrap and one larger curved backstrap and a carrying case.

It’s a thoroughly-featured pistol as well. A polymer-framed striker-fired design, the FNS is currently available as a compact service pistol, with a four-inch barrel and full-size grip. The FNS has a 17+1 capacity in 9mm and 14+1 in .40. FNH USA plans on introducing both subcompact and full-size models in the future.

The FNS has true ambidextrous controls with manual safeties, slide stops and magazine releases on both sides. In both 9mm and .40, the FNS is offered with your choice of matte black or stainless steel finished slides. Internally, the FNS has solid stainless steel rails to match the stainless steel slide. The gun is very solidly put together.

The trigger is a pre-tentioned double-action only type, with minimal takeup and overtravel. The FNS has a short and positive trigger reset. Combined with the high grip and low bore axis, it’s an extremely fast shooter.

If you were considering getting an FNS already, now may be the perfect time for you. With a rebate for almost ten percent off the FNS becomes an even better deal, but if you prefer, you can instead donate your rebate to the NRA’s Life of Duty program, which supports Americans in uniform around the world.

The FNS is a real shooter. If you get the chance to try one, don’t pass it up.

Even though the FNS is a higher-priced gun than we usually feature bargain hunting, with the extras, including night sights, the FNS is a great package. Getting an extra $50 off with a rebate doesn’t hurt any at all.
