Magpul is giving away some PMAGs. Theyâre giving away some $15,945 in PMAGs. This sweepstakes, which ends in a weekâyou have until Oct. 31, 11:59:59 p.m. eastern timeâhas 1,100 magazines in prizes. What do you have to do to enter? Take a survey.
There will be one grand prize winner to win 100 Gen M3 PMAGs, Magpulâs latest and greatest magazine they just recently unveiled, which will be available to purchase starting next month, five first prize winners, each receiving 100 Gen M2 PMAGs with round-count indicating windows and five second prize winners each getting 100 standard windowless Gen M2 PMAGs. Not bad for taking a two-minute survey.
And in all honesty, weâd be happy to take the survey even if it wasnât tied to any drawing. As part of it Magpul wants to know what platform they should develop products for next. Some options include greater Remington support and AK-47 accessories, both of which have had people begging Magpul for some aftermarket attention.
Honestly, who doesnât want a KMAG for AKs?
This sweepstakes is partly to promote their new Gen M3 PMAGs, their new polymer magazines that offer greater compatibility with rifles that use STANAG magazines but arenât ARs or M4s. This involved reshaping the magazine body; a thinner design with a new polymer.
These Gen M3s also have other neat features like a dot matrix that you can easily dab paint into to label your magazines, new, more slender floorplates that work with a wider range of mag carriers, especially double carriers, over-insertion stop to prevent damage to you bolt catch over time from slamming your mags in too hard, and a bunch of other little tweaks and upgrades.
This sweepstakes is probably the easiest way to get your hands on a few dozen of the new Gen M3 mags or add to your pile of M2s, but not all is lost if you arenât one of the lucky eleven, as Magpul is lowering their prices on their M2 magazines, standard and windowed.
So, after you head on over to the giveaway page and fill out the survey, care to share what youâd like to see Magpul make accessories for next? Honestly, we expect the AK to be the most popular vote, but weâre all ears.
