DNA Gun Allows Cops to Shoot and Tag Possible Criminals (VIDEO)

Displayed at this years SHOT Show, UK security company Selectamark showed off their new high velocity DNA tagging system.  Designed strictly for law enforcement, the DNA gun is meant to be used in situations where law enforcement would need to tag an individual at a safe distance for possible later identification, e.g. crowd control.  Selectmark is producing both handgun and rifle versions of the marking system.  The law enforcement officer would be able to keep a distance of up to 40 yards from an individual — the pellet shot at the mark would contain a unique DNA formula that law enforcement could uniquely analyze and match at a later time.  More on the product here.
