Michelle Obama's Comments on 'Automatic Weapons' Edited Out by ABC (VIDEO)

Coincidence? Standard television editing? Liberal media bias? The Illuminati? — You decide.

First Lady Michelle Obama sat down with Robin Roberts in an appearance that aired Tuesday on ABC’s Good Morning America.  The two covered a wide range of topics, but many are asking what happend to Mrs. Obama’s full statement regarding guns and more specifically the murder of Hadiya Pendleton.  Pendleton is the Chicago area high school student who was gunned down in a park last month only days after attending Barack Obama’s inauguration.

Here is Michelle Obama’s full statement released online in print:
“She was standing out in a park with her friends in a neighborhood blocks away from where my kids…grew up, where our house is. She had just taken a chemistry test. And she was caught in the line of fire because some kids had some automatic weapons they didn’t need,” she said. “I just don’t want to keep disappointing our kids in this country. I want them to know that we put them first.”

Well when it came time to air the interview on television, Michelle Obama reference to “automatic weapons” were edited out.  See below in the video:

What was the reason for the edits?  ABC claims they were “solely for time.”  Others are saying ABC is protecting the First Lady from misstatements and controversy since there is no evidence that an automatic weapon was used in the shooting of Hadiya Pendleton.
