Thousands Line Up Outside Cal Expo Gun Show To Buy Ammo (VIDEO)

It probably isn’t news to most of you that ammo is hard to come by right now, but every once in a while we get a glimpse of ammo on shelves in stores or online, and everybody gets happy and hopeful. But then that excitement and confidence quickly falters when we hear stories like this.

The CBS affiliate reported that thousands of people lined up for hours outside Cal Expo to buy ammunition. The line wrapped around the building for the first day of the two-day gun show.

“What many people are coming for is ammo because there isn’t any available in the traditional channels,” said gun show owner Bob Templeton.

According to the report, area gun owners said they were waiting in these absurdly long lines because they’re afraid of losing gun rights and the state and/or federal government outlawing certain firearms and firearm-related products.
