The Swedish Army ushered in a new era of hand-grenades with the recent acquisition of the Air Burst Hand Grenade (AB HGr).
Produced by Rheinmetall Waffe Munitions ARGES, the grenades “roll around on the ground, come to a complete stop, erect themselves and jump to a height of 1.5-2m and explode.” They are reportedly “designed to engage targets behind cover” and are capable of defeating Kevlar vests. According to tests, they have a 98% effective kill radius within 5-meters.
While few of us ever thought we’d have a blacked-out lever-action hunting rifle on our wish list, here we are with not one, but two. The Marlin Dark series was followed by the Henry X-Model, both American-made levers.
