Navy SEAL Auctions Knife Used in Bin Laden Raid (PHOTOS)

A knife purportedly used by a Navy SEAL during the raid to kill Osama bin Laden is up for auction and has raised upwards of $25,000 thus far.

Auctioned on the site 24Fundraiser, the Emerson CQC-7 knife designed by Ernest Emerson was given to “Mark Owen,” a pseudonym for the SEAL team 6 member who wrote “No Easy Say: The Firsthand Account of the Mission that Killed Osama bin Laden.”

According to the knife’s description (written by Emerson),”This is the real deal – Owen is the real guy and this is the real knife.” The site further states,

“I’m donating the knife because the owner of Combat Flip flops is a friend and when he told me about this auction and all the good that the money raised was going to go towards, I wanted to help in anyway that I could,” Owen said in the knife’s description. “Giving back to our community is very important to me and if donating this knife to charity helps with that process then I’m more than happy to do it!”
