A World of Pain: Man Shoots Self While Bowling (VIDEO)

A man unleashed a world of pain upon himself while bowling in Florida Tuesday.

Apparently the unnamed man had been carrying a gun in the pocket of his shorts while he bowled at Jupiter Lanes in West Palm Beach around 7:30 p.m.

“The guy just stepped up to bowl,” said bystander Jim Miller. “I think he hit his leg on his back swing.” That’s when witnesses heard a loud pop and saw the man limping back to his seat holding his leg.

“Everybody kind of stopped,” witness Debra Dean said. “We were way down on this end. Everybody was looking, and all of a sudden you can tell something wasn’t right.”

It’s unclear if White Russians were involved, but the wounded bowler was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center where his his injuries were not considered life-threatening.  Guns.com does not know the particulars of this man’s situation (specifically what rig he was using while concealed carrying or if he even had a CCW) at this time, but we do feel confident saying his story speaks volumes in support of using properly sized pocket holsters.
