Fox News Allegedly Captures Images of Israeli SpecOps in Syria (VIDEO)

Fox News published a video which alleges to “capture, for the very first time,” Israeli commandos returning from a mission inside Syria.

This comes into direct opposition to the official Israeli position that states “Israel has so far refrained from intervening in Syria’s civil war and will maintain this policy as long as Assad refrains from attacking Israel directly or indirectly.” As of yet, it’s unclear if Syria has attacked Israel, thus prompting the incursion.

But in recent months, Bashar al-Assad forces have lost control of territories bordering the Jewish-majority state, prompting Israeli Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz to assert,

“We see terror organizations that are increasingly gaining footholds in the territory and they are fighting against Assad. Guess what? We’ll be next in line.”

The general’s comments have led to speculation Israel may preempt any possible attack in and around the Golan Heights – a possible explanation for the commandos presence in neighboring Syria.
