Boston Marathon victim who lost both legs throws out first pitch to a standing ovation at Fenway (VIDEO)

Last night at Fenway Park, Boston marathon victim Jeff Bauman and his rescuer Carlos Arredondo were honored with the first pitch prior to the Phillies-Red Sox game.

The photograph of Arredondo pinching off Bauman leg artery and rushing him off to an ambulance became one of the iconic images of the terrorist attack.

Jeff Bauman continues to recover at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital where he is said to be responding well to treatment. Arredondo continually visits Bauman as they have now become friends. β€˜When we first saw each other we hugged each other and I gave him a kiss on the cheek because it was very beautiful to see him doing very well,’ Arredondo told WHDH in early May.
