Police Accidently Shoot and Kill Iraq Veteran's Dog (VIDEO)

In a truly heartbreaking story out of New York, an Iraq Veteran claims police killed his dog when they mistakenly raided his home.

Adam Arroyo wants Buffalo police to apologize for the death of his beloved pit bull Cindy, who was supposedly chained inside the kitchen as the raid unfolded Monday.

Although Arroyo lives in one of the two apartments listed on the warrant, police assert the search was valid. The Iraq War Vet has no criminal history and was not home at the time of the raid.

“I got there as fast as I could and I saw the carnage. I saw what happened. My house was flipped upside down, my dog was gone,” said a visible shaken Arroyo.

After spotting blood and bullet holes in his apartment, the Veteran contacted the police who told him Cindy was killed.

“I collapsed, and I just started crying. I couldn’t believe what was happening. I’ve been crying all day.”

And to add insult to injury, police have billed Arroyo for the dog’s cremation.
