Prince Harry has been wowing crowds in his native England with his Apache helicopter skills.

Known as Captain Wales in the Army, the 28-year-old prince has been recently assigned to the Apache Attack Helicopter Display Team. His acumen was on display yesterday as he participated in the RAF Cosford Air Show in Shropshire.

According to spectator Stuart Morris, 37, from Walsall, West Midlands, Harry’s first ever role as an aerial acrobat was spectacular.

“The display was jaw-dropping, the helicopter was almost completely inverted with its rotors roaring down so much so that it was almost on its back. Everyone left the air show with a buzz…”

As a co-pilot gunner, Captain Wales serves with the Army Air Corps. He was selected for the Display Team given his experience in the deadly Apache helicopter – most recently seeing combat in Libya and Afghanistan.
