TSA Opens Instagram Account to Display ‘Instacool’ Contraband

Ever wonder what happens to all of that stuff the TSA confiscates at airports? Well, apparently the Transportation Security Administration has created an Instagram account to display all of the “instacool” items. However, the site only displays guns, knives, other weapons and fireworks, leaving out other dangerous contraband such as water in excess of 3.4 ounces, tiny folding scissors and your grandma’s knitting needles. But the account was just opened last month with only 11 photos so far, so we just might see some pictures of a sippy cup with 3.5 ounces of apple juice displayed in the future.

Of course, I’m not sure what’s more entertaining, the “instacool” weapons, the #overly #excessive #hashtags #of #the #TSA or the witty comments left on the photos.
