Jim Carrey blames Lincoln Memorial vandalism on "corporate tyranny"


Jim Carrey, unsatisfied with slandering only owners of assault rifles, extended his condemnation to the entire American public. In a far cry from his comedic film roles, Carrey responded to the Lincoln Memorial vandalism, Tweeting his very serious political stance.

In March, Carrey poked fun at gun rights activists, calling them “heartless motherfu*kers unwilling to bend for the safety of our kids,” with his release of the satirical music video “Cold Dead Hands.” Months later he apologized for his distasteful rant, saying he neither agreed with nor was fearful of gun owners.
