Gun Toting Motorcyclist Stops Would-Be Robbers Armed with a Knife

Two would-be robbers got a bit of a surprise when they tried to rob a man on a motorcycle earlier this month near Colorado Springs.

The man had stopped in unincorporated El Paso County to put on an extra layer of clothing, when a black Honda Accord pulled up behind him and two young men stepped out. One was armed with a knife and demanded the man’s money. The man did not comply, but rather punched the young lad in the face instead. The man then pulled out his gun, to which the two reacted by quickly getting back into the car and speeding away.

Sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Jeff Kramer said the motorcyclist was legally carrying his firearm. No arrests were made and the investigation is ongoing.
