50 Cent charged with domestic violence, ordered by judge to surrender all firearms, up to 5 years in jail (VIDEO)

Rapper 50 Cent plead not-guilty to multiple charges involving the mother of one of his children and was ordered by a judge to stay away from her and relinquish possession of all firearms.

50 Cent, whose given name is Curtis Jackson, must immediately surrender any and all firearms to authorities or sell them to a federally licensed firearms dealer.

Jackson faces prosecution on one charge of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism connected to the alleged battery of Daphne Narvaez at her Toluca Lake condo.

He must appear at court on Sept. 4 for his misdemeanor domestic violence case, Judge Bernard Kamins said.

June 23, Los Angeles Police responded to the complex on report of possible domestic violence. They entered the residence and found significant damage to the interior of the condo as well as evidence of domestic violence, said LAPD Lt. Alan Hamilton.

If found guilty, Jackson faces up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines.

“Regardless of perceived celebrity or notoriety, domestic violence is a serious crime and alleged perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law by this office,” City Attorney Mike Feuer said after filing charges. “We will continue to look out for the safety of all victims of domestic violence and seek justice for the alleged crimes.”

Jackson and Narvaez had been in a relationship for three years and also share a child in common.
