Video emerges of Canadian police shooting "distraught" man with beanbag gun (VIDEO)

Police took down a “distraught” man with a beanbag gun outside of the Vancouver Art Gallery in Vancouver, Canada, Monday morning, The Vancouver Sun reported.

Police to the newspaper that the man was wandering in and out of traffic and “intimidating” pedestrians around 11:15 a.m.

Police suspect drugs, alcohol or mental illness played a role in the man’s erratic behavior.

As you can see in the video, after a brief confrontation, an officer approaches with a shotgun loaded with the less-lethal projectile.

The erratic man approaches the armed officer, arms spread like he’s invincible and is promptly shot once and goes down.
