Polish AK-pattern rifles are some of the best in the world, and that’s saying something because with companies like Arsenal and Molot the bar is pretty high. Polish small arms in general are nice, the fact that you can get one of these I.O. Hellpups for something like $600 to $700 is just icing.
Like .300 AAC Blackout, 7.62x39mm does relatively well from short barrels and the Hellpup won’t disappoint with it’s 9.25-inch barrel. Throw an AKARs rail on it, a red dot sight and you’re good to go.
They’re nice enough that even if you’re not all that into AK pistols you might find yourself thinking, “Well, maybe one for the truck …” More info can be found at the I.O. Inc. website.
