David Bowie’s new music video uses found WWII footage (VIDEO)

David Bowie’s new music video, “I’d Rather Be High,” uses found footage from WWII.

It’s been about a decade since the famed musical artist released a new album, and his new one, “The Next Day Extra,” talks plainly about the realities of war, Rolling Stones reports.

“I’d rather be dead or out of my head, than training these guns on those men in the sand,” sings Bowie. The video juxtaposes scenes of soldiers dancing and celebrating against scenes of soldiers enduring the hardships of war.
