This is what it's like to call in air support (VIDEO)

This is an A-10 shooting up the Taliban with its 30mm cannon, followed by Apache and Kiowa missile strikes.

The A-10 Thunderbolt II, more commonly known as the “Warthog,” of course uses the GAU-8 Avenger as its primary weapon, one of the most terrifying guns in existence. It’s also often equipped with a variety of rockets, missiles and bombs and is currently being re-tooled to haul JDAMs, because hell yes.

The AH-64 Apache is the primary attack helicopter of the U.S. armed forces and of course hauls an ass-load of hurt, where the OH-58 Kiowa is a scout and support helicopter, although it also hauls a touch of hurt as well.

This footage is part of an ongoing documentary of the war in Afghanistan. If you’d like to get involved with the Funker crew and company head over to their Facebook page and their Twitter feed.
