I understand there will be a market for a big .380 pistol, in fact, I know there will be, it’s just that it’s not going to be as big as 9mm.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I would be that Glock is addressing a smaller market for one or two reasons or a combination of both.

They either want to use the consumer market to stress-test the design or they don’t have the manufacturing capability to make a 9mm single-stack subcompact Glock in enough quantity to satisfy the insane demand such a pistol would generate.
