Drive-by shooting prankster turns himself in to police (VIDEO)

The Pennsylvania man who pretended to shoot random passersby during multiple “drive-by pranks”  turned himself in Monday night.

Philadelphia native Daron Stinson, 21, was seeking fame among his more than 10,000 Instagram followers, and that’s why he uploaded the videos of him pretending to shoot people in his drive-by shooting pranks. But after prompting from his father, Rodney, turned himself in to authorities, NBC reports.

In the video, Daron points a fake gun out the window of a vehicle and pretends to fire on several different people. Each time he rolls away from the scene in laughter.

“All of this is jokes,” Daron said. “I’m not out here really robbing people. I’m not out here really shooting people. I could be doing that. That’s the shit I’m trying to leave behind.”

But Rodney Stinson doesn’t find any humor at all in his son’s actions.

“It’s not funny to me,” Rodney said. “I’m his father! I’m appalled by it! He considers it funny. He does a lot of other things. Nothing with the gun is funny. Nothing. I don’t consider it funny.”

Daron was charged with aggravated assault and according to his father, will spend at least a night behind bars.
