Ginny Simone with NRA News talks guns with a ‘Straight Shootin’ Senior’ (VIDEO)

Ginny Simone with NRA News talks guns with “Straight Shootin’ Senior” 72-year-old Elaine, who is widowed and lives alone and protects herself with a Daniel Defense AR-15.

Elaine says AR-15s aren’t “assault weapons,” their rifles, and she thinks a cap on how many rounds a magazine can hold doesn’t make sense. She’s ready to protect her home if need be and says that while police will respond to an emergency, oftentimes they are too late.

“I would hope that if there’s bad guys there that they’d be laying on the floor with their hands across their head while I’m looking at them with an AR-15,” she says.
