Connecticut governor tells gun owner ‘you lost' (VIDEO)

Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy recently responded to questions about the constitutionality of certain gun laws by telling a gun owner that “you lost” and gun control proponents won.

The discussion took place during a March 13 town hall meeting at John Barry Elementary School in Meriden. Some of those present questioned the constitutionality of the gun laws Malloy signed in 2013, so the governor laid down the law, Breitbart reports.

“We have courts in this country,” Malloy said. “We have a legislative branch, we have an executive branch, and we have courts. Courts are where the constitutionality of thing are decided. You’ve thrown that term [constitutionality] around a little bit, [but the laws] have gone to the court and guess what, you lost. So what the legislature did has been ruled to be appropriate.”
