Shooting review of the new M&P Bodyguard .380 (VIDEO)

Even though it costs less, without the laser the new M&P Bodyguard .380 ACP seems like an all-around upgrade from the original Bodyguard, even if it has that nine-pound DAO trigger. It would seem like the trigger weight would make a manual safety irrelevant, but at least it really locks both on and off.

And for the money it’s hard to beat.

While there is one school of thought that it’s never a good idea to upgrade a carry pistol, it’s becoming more and more common. For those of you out there who don’t mind tuning up a carry piece there’s always Galloway Precision, who offers a full line of Bodyguard upgrades.
