NRA Women’s Tatiana Whitlock talks training in ‘Situational Awareness When Carrying Concealed’ (VIDEO)

NRA Women’s Tatiana Whitlock explains the importance of keeping your head up and your eyes open in “Situational Awareness When Carrying Concealed.”

You fight like you train, and Whitlock says it’s critical to practice your draw in your daily wear. But more importantly, concealed carriers must be constantly aware of their surroundings because a “concealed carry firearm is not an invisible shield.”

“This means just being aware of your environment,” Whitlock says. “Who’s in it? Something, or someone giving you that uncomfortable feeling. If you can’t see that person or that situation, how are you going to know that it’s there?”
