“Sons of Guns” star Will Hayden was arrested Aug. 9 in Baton Rouge on charges of child molestation and crimes against nature.

Hayden, owner of Red Jacket Firearms, the focus of the Discovery Channel show, was booked at East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Saturday. The 49-year-old was released on a $150,000 bond later that day.

Prison officials told The Times-Picayune details of the case have been sealed pursuant to a court order.

However, Hayden reportedly told the celebrity gossip publication TMZ that an ex-girlfriend, and mother to one of his daughters, told police that he molested their daughter.

Hayden denies the allegations and explained to TMZ that the woman did it in retaliation for breaking up with her.

He also said child protective services interviewed the girl and returned her to his home.

Updated at 4:04 p.m. eastern – Stephanie Hayden, the daughter who also stars on the show, released a statement on Facebook.

“This was a false allegation and unfortunately that’s all it takes. My father is a good man, and ALL of his children love him very much and are truly sickened that a person would try to do this to our family,” she said and added, “The one thing that really hurts us is that my sister is heartbroken that anyone could think this of her father. It’s a nightmare.”
