Indie Revolver managed to snag an exclusive sneak peak of what the Stormtroopers will look like in “Star Wars: Episode VII.”

The new helmet design looks sleeker and a bit more streamlined than its predecessor. The vent, which was formerly in the center, has been moved to the side. The new version also has what appears to be a detachable face mask.

Filming for “Star Wars: Episode VII” has already begun and the film is expected to release sometime in 2015.

The new Stormtrooper helmets have vents on the side as opposed to the bottom like the old ones.

The visor shape is also notably different.

The new helmets have what appear to be a detachable face shield.

Here is an example of the old Stormtrooper helmet.
