Parisian gunmen ambush a Saudi Prince’s motorcade

This past week a Saudi Prince’s convoy headed to the Paris airport was held up by eight assailants. No shots were fired or injuries recorded, but the gunmen were successfully able to make off with over $300,000 in “things of value.” Authorities declined to comment on what exactly was stolen, but it was believed to be both cash and embassy documents.

The members of the Saudi convoy were forced out of their cars and left at the side of the road. Their vehicles were later found burnt out in Northern Paris. The Saudi embassy declined to release the names of those involved in the incident but the Prince has since been identified as Prince Abdul Aziz. After the hijacking, the Prince continued on his flight to Ibiza.
