Eric Frein look-alike stopped often by police receives thousands for safe commute (VIDEO)

James Tully has made this five-mile trek to and from work for about a year now, but now he’s drawing some unwanted attention from police looking for alleged cop killer Eric Frein.

“For some reason people seem to think I’m the one they’re looking for,” Tully told reporters. He’s been stopped by police, who sometimes have guns drawn, more than 20 times.

Frein, 31, has been the subject of a manhunt since he allegedly ambushed and murdered a Pennsylvania State Trooper and wounding another on Sept. 12.

Since Tully’s story broke, thousands of dollars has been donated so he can arrange safe travel to and from work. So far donations have exceeded the $2,500 goal with more than $7,000 raised. Check out the Go Fund Me page.
