SNL takes on grand jury decisions, racism and police brutality in opening skit (VIDEO)

“For the first time in my life, everyone agrees with me. Folks are high-fiving with me, inviting me places. This must be what it feels like to be Beyonce,” Reverend Al Sharpton (Kenan Thompson) said on Politics Nation before his guest, a criminal justice lawyer, appears on the program to discuss the grand jury decision not to indict the NYPD officer for the death of Eric Garner.

Only Sharpton has so much to say, such as, “This is not a whodunnit. This is a he did it!,” that his guest never even gets to say a single word.

Sharpton then talks with Peter Dinello (Bobby Moynihan), a member of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, to discuss the best way for a police officer to get indicted for homicide.
