Missouri man indicted for shooting at airplane (VIDEO)

An Missouri man has been indicted by a Missouri grand jury for shooting at an airplane, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.

Charges in an indictment for David Leroy Dickenson, 38, of Miller, Missouri, were unsealed and made public following Dickenson’s court appearance on Jan. 20.

Dickenson allegedly shot at crop duster with a shotgun loaded with buckshot on Dec. 3 in an attempt to destroy the plane. He reportedly shot the plane 18 times.

He then tried to hide the gun from law enforcement.

Dickenson remains in federal custody pending the court’s ruling on a detention motion.
