Colorado company makes realistic-looking open carry shirts (VIDEO)

Nitelife Billiards owner Paul Liebe called the shirts freedom of speech with a little kick on the side.

The shirts, which feature realistic-looking open carried holstered gun prints, are a great conversation starter, he said, but also warns those purchasing about the possible reactions they could cause. Liebe pointed out that the shirts could easily be mistaken for real firearms, especially from a distance, and that caution and common sense should be used, particularly around police officers.

“Don’t put your hand on the shirt on the gun,” said Liebe, who also stated that he hasn’t heard of any negative reactions from the shirts yet, and wants to keep it that way.

Liebe said if you are approached by an officer while wearing one of the shirts, simply listen to the officer’s commands.

“If he says, ‘freeze, halt, stop,’ just listen to him.”

Liebe revealed orders for the shirts, which can be purchased on his website, are beginning to stack up quite quickly. He said they’ve even had orders placed from as far as Italy and Afghanistan.
