Armed victim to carjacker: 'So you just woke up stupid this morning' (VIDEO)

A recent attempted carjacking at an Atlanta Family Dollar didn’t quite go as planned when the would-be victim, who was armed with a handgun, turned the tables on the suspect.

Hashim Fannin said he had just pulled into a parking space and put his car in park, when the doors automatically unlocked and a strange man crawled into the passenger’s seat. According to Fannin, the man said, “You know what this is?” Fannin knew what it was alright, but that didn’t mean he was about to stand for it.

Fannin pulled out his gun and told the man to get out of his car, although “probably not in those exact words,” he admitted.

The attempted carjacker, 61-year-old Edgar Horn, wanted to just leave at that point.

“I told him, ‘No, there’s no leaving. Leaving was before you hopped into my car,’” Fannin said.

Fannin held Horn at gunpoint until the responding officer arrived, shook the man’s hand and placed the suspect in handcuffs.
