Just how fast is a bump fire stock, anyway? (VIDEO)

Ok, so bump firing and the stocks that enhance the ability to do so are often frowned upon by range safety officers, Bloombergers, hordes of zombies and the like– but you have to admit they are fun in a, “let’s blow through a bunch of ammo that we didn’t really want anyway,” kinda way.

However, the riddle is: just how fast do they shoot?

Well the good folks over at The Wound Channel did some simple research into the subject with a $99 Slide Fire bump-fire stocked AR, a shot timer and a couple boxes of ammo.

Spolier alert: its pretty fast.
