So a superphone and a FAMAS walk onto a gun range...(VIDEO)

Matt Best and the gang from FullMag went for a long walk on a short range in Utah where they pitted an LG G4 against the French firepower that is the FAMAS rifle.

The FAMAS, (Fusil d’Assaut de la Manufacture d’Armes de Saint-Etienne, English for “Assault rifle from the Saint-Etienne weapon factory”), was one of the first bull pup rifles adopted for frontline service by a NATO country when the French picked it up in the 1970s to replace a legion of dated designs.

It’s quirky and funky and its bugle-like profile has led to its nickname as such in French service.

While Best and company don’t seem too impressed with it, the 5.56mm rifle seems to be able to stand up to a full on assault by an LG G4 smartphone and come out on top.
