Young Anakin Skywalker arrested after high-speed chase (VIDEO)

2

Jake Lloyd, who is probably most well-known for his role as young Anakin Skywalker in the 1999 film “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace,” was arrested in Colleton County, South Carolina, Sunday following a high-speed chase with authorities which topped speeds of over 100 miles per hour.

The 26-year-old apparently told officers his name was Jake Broadbent, but confirmation by a former talent agent confirmed he was indeed Lloyd.

The young Padawan who eventually turned to the dark side of the force now faces charges for reckless driving, failure to stop, resisting arrest and driving without a license, and remained in jail as of Sunday.
