Just in time for Independence Day Ruger is launching a second-edition 10/22 Collector’s Rifle and to celebrate this Fourth of July they’ve got new American Pride shirt designs on sale now. For every shirt sold they’re throwing in a Made in the USA patch, decal and button.

Ruger kicked off the Collector’s Series last year to celebrate the 10/22’s 50-year anniversary. The new Collector’s Series rifle is based on their 50th Anniversary Design Contest-edition 10/22 with a few changes to set it apart from the previous variant. Like the first Collector’s Series rifle this 10/22 comes with a Collector’s Series street sign, a $25 gift certificate for the Ruger store, a “Father’s Advice” mini-poster and a Collector’s Series pin.

The gift certificate will cover the cost of a shirt with a little left over. The American Pride shirts run $19 including all the extras. The voucher can be used for anything in the Ruger store, from apparel to extra mags and shooting gear, but the shirts will only be on sale through July 4.

Of course you don’t have to buy a 10/22 to get the shirts, you can order yours today to get it an all the extras in time for this year’s Independence Day barbecue. For these and the rest of the Ruger swag head over to the Ruger online store.

The second Collector’s Series rifle is one of the more featured 10/22 model to come out of the shop, with a modular black and grey synthetic stock, railed flattop receiver and adjustable low-profile peep sights with a shielded front sight blade. It’s a versatile design that can be configured to do just about any practical 10/22 shooting, and with the modular stock can be fit to shooters of all sizes.

The stock uses the same inserts as select Ruger American Rimfire rifles which are offered with standard and compact lengths of pull, with optional high combs for shooting with raised optics. Naturally these Collector’s Series rifle uses all 10/22 magazines and components including the recently-introduced BX trigger.

The rest of the specifications are pretty familiar. The Second Edition Collector’s Series 10/22 is chambered for .22 Long Rifle and has an 18.5-inch barrel with a satin black finish and matching receiver. Like most 10/22s it’s lightweight, and with the glass-filled polymer stock weighs just 5 pounds.

This second Collector’s Rifle puts function ahead of style and a nice option for anyone shopping for a do-all plinker for shooters of all ages.
