Everyone’s favorite slingshot mad scientist, Bavarian Joerg Sprave decided to try his hand at some lawn darts and in typical crazy German fashion, made them deadly.
Sprave not only uses some commercial off-the-shelf outdoor recreational toys, complete with gelatin testing after firing from one of his custom launchers, but went one better by producing some jarts that look as if they should be shot over a castle wall somewhere.
Of course, effective on December 19, 1988, the the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission banned the sale of all lawn darts in the United States so keep in mind that these are, as Joerg would say, verboten here.
So don’t try this at home, you’ll shoot your eye out, follow all local laws and so forth.
And remember, when lawn darts are outlawed, only outlaws will have lawn darts.
