Fantastic Fourth of July fireworks fail turns night into day (VIDEO)

Professional grade fireworks shows are stunning and majestic, but they occasionally take on a life of their own.

There is possibly no better illustration of such than in the epic 2012 San Diego “Big Bay Boom” show in which a 18 minute program went off by accident in about 15 seconds, turning day into night momentarily and providing either the best or the worst show imaginable, depending on your inner boom beast.

However such snafus are not isolated to the U.S..

In 2014 a celebration at a vineyard in Italy, shown below, turned into a dazzling but borderline terrifying eruption that rivaled Mt. Vesuvius.
