The Young Turks not sure who to blame for FBI's background check error (VIDEO)

Political and news show The Young Turks — Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, Jimmy Dore, and Wes Clark Jr. — discuss the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s error when checking the Charleston church shooter’s criminal history.

FBI officials say South Carolina church murderer Dylann Roof was on a federal list of drug users that should have barred him from buying guns. The law only required a three day waiting period, which was not enough time for the drug background check to go through. Since the FBI could not accurately complete the background check in three days, federal law says the gun seller can proceed with the sale.

The group asks: Should wait times be increased for gun purchases to ensure adequate time for background checks? Should the seller have exercised better judgement?
