Louisiana sheriff warns burger joint bandit and promises justice (VIDEO)

St. Landry Parish Crime Stoppers broadcast what could be the most epic crime run down, and the deputy relating the case isn’t mincing words.

Burglarized on Wednesday July 8 was Stelly’s Market and Restaurant, the target of a man who smashed his way through the building, taking cash.

“Stelly’s has been a local favorite for decades. the family works hard and is known to be generous,” advises Lt. Clay Higgins with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s office.

“If you are the man who committed this felony: look at me, son, I’m talking to you,” he says. “The Sheriff likes Stelly’s Restaurant and so do I. The food here is good and the folks are friendly. We’re going to identify you, arrest you, and put you in a small cell.”

Then what, you may ask, is Lt. Higgins going to do?
