A tourist from Texas was arrested over the weekend for carrying two loaded handguns at the Sept. 11 memorial in New York City, The New York Post reported.

Elizabeth Enderli was arrested on Saturday when she informed a police officer that she had the guns in her backpack. She was charged with criminal possession of a weapon before being released Sunday, The Post reported.

The 31-year-old woman reportedly is a Marine Corps veteran and has a permit to carry a concealed weapon in her home state. The newspaper reported that she mistakenly believed the permit covered her visit to NYC.

Other tourists have been nabbed at the memorial. In September 2014,  a Milwaukee man was caught by a metal detector carrying a small pistol on his way inside Freedom Tower.

A few months before that, in April 2014, a North Carolina man forgot he had his gun on him so he hid them inside a lobby couch before entering the newly erected monument.

Enderli was ordered to return to court Aug. 28.
