12-year-old arrested for shooting at transgendered woman (VIDEO)

A 12-year-old child was arrested in Orlando and charged with attempted murder over the weekend after he apparently chased a transgendered woman and shot at her while yelling homophobic slurs.

According to Andrew West, who goes by Cheyenne, the young boy said he was going to kill her before he opened fire.

“What was going into my mind was if I catch him, I’m going to beat him,” West said. “I think he ran out of bullets.”

Police said a total of seven shots were fired, but no one was injured. The gun used was also determined to be stolen.

Authorities eventually caught up with the child, who was subsequently arrested and charged with attempted murder and grand theft of a firearm.
