Fisherman makes epic cast to disable snooping drone (VIDEO)

When Tice Ledbetter went zooming around the Pacific Beach pier in San Diego with his drone, a local angler decided to take it out by any means necessary.

The video, which popped up late last week, shows Ledbetter’s remotely piloted vehicle poking around the pier, filming local fishermen casting lines.

One man, apparently not feeling the candid camera in the sky, makes an tremendous over the shoulder surf cast high into the unfriendly skies and manages to snag the creepy chopper.

In recent years animal rights advocates have threatened to harass sportsmen while taking game which has led to several states passing legislation making the use of drones in areas where hunting or fishing are practiced a crime to protect both wildlife and those seeking it.
