Ferguson looter brags on Facebook before getting turned in by his mom

looting facebook post

A St. Charles mother told police she simply wanted them to know that she did not raise her son to be a criminal after she turned him in for looting in Ferguson.

The looter in question, 19-year-old Brandon Ward, apparently saw his own image on surveillance video featured on a news segment, snapped a picture of it, then posted the image to Facebook with the caption “Lmfao Im on TV.”

Ward’s mom then tipped off authorities to her son’s criminal activity, to which they were already hip due to his Facebook post. Ward admitted to looting and was subsequently arrested. He is now lmfao-ing in jail while being held on a $10,000 bond.
