Holiday shoppers: Guns.com launches online store

Launching right now with a selection of pro-gun t-shirts for starters, the Guns.com store will expand after the New Year with a more extensive collection of apparel, gear and gifts — all with the discerning armed American in mind.

“We were constantly running across intriguing and thought-provoking items,” said Joey Clementine with the store development team. “And we thought to ourselves, this is really next-level stuff that people deserve to know about.”

While the store will not carry firearms and ammunition, everything else in the gun world is on the table from apparel to tactical lights and everyday carry accessories to knives, range gear, and even art for the man cave or hunting camp.

However, organizers stress the offerings will be just the right mix of both recognized items and brands those in the gun community already know and love, but will also introduce them to new concepts and independent names that are currently running under the radar.

“It will have some very specific pieces, selected purposefully,” Clementine said. “A lot of the drive behind the store was that we felt there were just all these really interesting items — that we became fans of ourselves — that no one else is carrying and we could collect and present to our audience.”

The site, powered by Shopify.com, meets all six categories of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) standards for the handling of credit and debit card information and transactions to have the strongest safeguards on the online store, its shopping cart, and web hosting to keep customer data secure.
